This is a great product but the container seemed short of product. There was a huge hole in the center which just didn't seem right. It holds like charm and doesn’t shine as it saysI've been using this product for over 13 years. A -tiny- amount, rubbed between -dry- palms, applied to -damp- hair is all I need to keep my style all day. Smells great. Rinses off without effort. I've tried at least 3 other brands that offer a product that seems like they would be just as good.. (Axe is one of them) However, the only attribute they share with this product is its appearance in the jar.One thing that annoys me when I read product reviews is reviewers rating something based on listing issue or shipping speed. it screws up the overall review score for a product, which leads to customers not being able to trust or rely on the scores of any product on Amazon.People have been rating this 1-star for years, complaining about the same issue -- the listing says 2x 3.5oz jars, but what ships is 2x 3.0oz jars.Every listing page on Amazon has a link that says "Report incorrect product information." It's quick and simple, and it goes directly to the Amazon Catalog Team. I sent a report for this listing in addition to sending a message to the seller. That should remedy the problem and save future customers all that grief one experiences when a product received does not match its listing. If you write reviews, chances are, you read them as well. Most people write reviews with the intention of informing other customers; a quality review is priceless. Keep the seller comments in the seller feedback, and likewise, don't review the product in the seller feedback.I love this stuff and use it every day. Good value for the money and cheaper than many other products out there. The smell is nice; I've had other products that I can't stand. The smell diminishes as it dries. The stuff goes on to dry hair smoothly but gets a little sticky as it dries and can pull hair a little if then. Once dried, the stickiness is gone. If the hair is at all wet, this product's "shine" increases. The product can be revitalized through the day by getting it slightly damp (e.g. I use my wet hands to fix stay hairs during the day), but you will see a little more shine. The product is considered high hold; basically it glues hair together. You can't really run your fingers through your hair during the day or your break those bonds and it lists hold. It is NOT very stiff; don't expect to make spikes that will last.My grandmother bought this for me simply because it had Elvis on the lid, she didnt even know what it was lol It sat in my medicine cabinet for over a year before I even thought about using it and then only because I was out of my gel. I have a very short cut with my sides shaved pretty short but between cuts when it starts to grow out I use gel to keep the sides kind of slicked back and give some sort of style to it until I can get in for a cut. This stuff is now my go to, it works great without leaving my hair sticky, heavy or looking wet. In fact, you cant even tel that you have anything in your hair. I dont use it very often, just for a week or two after my hair has grown out so this two pack will last me a good long while because you dont need much of it. If you have a shorter hair cut, dont think you cant use this just because your a woman. Trust me, this stuff is great! So my wife asked me to try Crew Fiber and I think it is awesome.I have read some notes from other comments that they have success moving away from the instructions and are able to apply it to damp hair. I cannot say that it works for me. I have tried and I just don't get the results that I get with dry hair application. It is easy to use and does not take very much for the desired look. I am sold and will continue to use this product.PROS:- Great Hold- Don't need a lot of the product to get desired effectCONS:- Not cheap (More expensive than what I have used in the past, rather)Product okay, but twice as expensive as Creamo and half as good.So I am relatively new to pomades and have been looking for ones I like. This is my favorite from American crew. What I like about it:Smells is not overpowering, and smells good. Does not burn my eyes when washing it out. I like the no shine. A little bit does go a long way.Tips for use:Put on when hair is wet but not dripping wet. Very challenging to use when hair is too dry. Easiest to use with dry hands and not wet hands. Put a pea size chunk on your hand, rub it between your hands until it is creamy, then run it through your hair! Look in the mirror, you look great, congratulations!Been using Fiber since the late 90’s and thankfully American Crew has left the product alone. I always expect a new scent, color, texture, or drop in quality...but it still remains OG. As a guy, Fiber is one of my few grooming products. Nice product to keep what little hair I have left looking good. My first time purchasing through Amazon and was happy with the overnight delivery (with Prime of course). At last a product that is perfect for me! I continued to get a product from London, England for 7 years. If you are like me and rarely find a product that actually fits my style, give this a try. Feels more natural and easy washes out. Doesn’t leave hair feeling destroyed! Is strong enough to be able to style and keep it that way all day. Isn’t shiny or greasy. Lasts forever.I received a jar that was used!! Both items came in a package and upon opening it this morning I was horrified. I've ordered this before and never had an issue. I hope this can be made right. The product itself is fantastic as I've been using it for a while.I’ve tried dozens and dozens of hair products by now and none of them have REALLY worked. I think this is what I’ll be buying for years to come.I’ve gotten this product from hairdressers in the past and this was NOT even close. Product was rock hard and impossible to get out or the jar. I also ordered a two pack yet someone the two different pastes were different shades of yellow.
